Our cedar and fir lumber is ideal for indoor and outdoor projects, from fencing, decks and siding to DIY projects and residential construction.
We offer full-dimension lumber in a variety of grades, all cut from Vancouver Island-grown or salvaged timbers. We also provide cedar shingles, clapboard siding and finished lumber.
In addition to our inventory of standard-sized dimensional lumber, we offer custom cut lumber including posts, beams, rafters, graded lumber and unusual or large-scale building materials.

Where are you located?
Our lumber yard is located at 4130 Sooke Rd. in Metchosin, a short drive from Sooke, Langford, Colwood, and Greater Victoria. Pickup is available by appointment.
Do you offer delivery?
Deliveries are available throughout South Vancouver Island and the Southern Gulf Islands. Delivery fees start at $125 and increase depending on your distance from the sawmill. We require access for a truck or a truck and trailer for larger orders.
Are your prices cheaper than big lumber stores?
By buying directly from our sawmill you can expect to see savings on the products we sell. We offer premium cedar and fir cut to full dimension, providing better value than typical lumber store wood. While the price of logs and lumber fluctuates, we are constantly working to offer the most affordable pricing to our customers.
Do you offer contractor pricing?
We offer discounts for professional contractors and large bulk orders. We strive to offer great value to our construction partners and their clients.
What forms of payment do you take?
We accept all forms of payment including all major credit cards, cash, cheque and e-transfer.
Where do you get your logs?
The majority of our timbers come from log sorts on South Vancouver Island. When possible we source salvaged logs from residential developments and private properties.
